ON THIS HISTORIC DAY I THOUGHT IT APPROPRIATE TO QUOTE OUR NEW PRESIDENT

"Now, there are some who question the scale of our ambitions - who suggest that our system cannot tolerate too many big plans. Their memories are short. For they have forgotten what this country has already done; what free men and women can achieve when imagination is joined to common purpose, and necessity to courage.

What the cynics fail to understand is that the ground has shifted beneath them - that the stale political arguments that have consumed us for so long no longer apply. The question we ask today is not whether our government is too big or too small, but whether it works - whether it helps families find jobs at a decent wage, care they can afford, a retirement that is dignified. Where the answer is yes, we intend to move forward. Where the answer is no, programs will end. And those of us who manage the public's dollars will be held to account - to spend wisely, reform bad habits, and do our business in the light of day - because only then can we restore the vital trust between a people and their government.

Nor is the question before us whether the market is a force for good or ill. Its power to generate wealth and expand freedom is unmatched, but this crisis has reminded us that without a watchful eye, the market can spin out of control - and that a nation cannot prosper long when it favors only the prosperous.

The success of our economy has always depended not just on the size of our Gross Domestic Product, but on the reach of our prosperity; on our ability to extend opportunity to every willing heart - not out of charity, but because it is the surest route to our common good.

As for our common defense, we reject as false the choice between our safety and our ideals. Our Founding Fathers, faced with perils we can scarcely imagine, drafted a charter to assure the rule of law and the rights of man, a charter expanded by the blood of generations. Those ideals still light the world, and we will not give them up for expedience's sake.

And so to all other peoples and governments who are watching today, from the grandest capitals to the small village where my father was born: know that America is a friend of each nation and every man, woman, and child who seeks a future of peace and dignity, and that we are ready to lead once more. Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

We are the keepers of this legacy. Guided by these principles once more, we can meet those new threats that demand even greater effort - even greater cooperation and understanding between nations. We will begin to responsibly leave Iraq to its people, and forge a hard-earned peace in Afghanistan. With old friends and former foes, we will work tirelessly to lessen the nuclear threat, and roll back the specter of a warming planet. We will not apologize for our way of life, nor will we waver in its defense, and for those who seek to advance their aims by inducing terror and slaughtering innocents, we say to you now that our spirit is stronger and cannot be broken; you cannot outlast us, and we will defeat you."

PRESIDENT ELECT OBAMA'S ACCEPTANCE SPEECH

THIS HAD TO BE THE MOST EMOTIONAL THING FOR ME IN THE ENTIRE WORLD...

NANA AND POPPI I KNOW THAT YOU CRIED AND DANCED IN HEAVEN WHEN YOU SAW THIS AND I PLAN TO KEEP THE DREAM I ALIVE BEYOND A CAN AND A DID... MOVING PAST THEM TO A WHAT WE CREATED.

HERE IS THE TRANSCRIPTION OF PRESIDENT ELECT OBAMA'S ACCEPTANCE SPEECH...

"OBAMA: Hello, Chicago.

If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible, who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time, who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer.

It's the answer told by lines that stretched around schools and churches in numbers this nation has never seen, by people who waited three hours and four hours, many for the first time in their lives, because they believed that this time must be different, that their voices could be that difference.

It's the answer spoken by young and old, rich and poor, Democrat and Republican, black, white, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, gay, straight, disabled and not disabled. Americans who sent a message to the world that we have never been just a collection of individuals or a collection of red states and blue states.

We are, and always will be, the United States of America.

It's the answer that led those who've been told for so long by so many to be cynical and fearful and doubtful about what we can achieve to put their hands on the arc of history and bend it once more toward the hope of a better day.

It's been a long time coming, but tonight, because of what we did on this date in this election at this defining moment change has come to America.

A little bit earlier this evening, I received an extraordinarily gracious call from Senator McCain.

Senator McCain fought long and hard in this campaign. And he's fought even longer and harder for the country that he loves. He has endured sacrifices for America that most of us cannot begin to imagine. We are better off for the service rendered by this brave and selfless leader.

I congratulate him; I congratulate Governor Palin for all that they've achieved. And I look forward to working with them to renew this nation's promise in the months ahead.

I want to thank my partner in this journey, a man who campaigned from his heart, and spoke for the men and women he grew up with on the streets of Scranton ... and rode with on the train home to Delaware, the vice president-elect of the United States, Joe Biden.

And I would not be standing here tonight without the unyielding support of my best friend for the last 16 years ... the rock of our family, the love of my life, the nation's next first lady ... Michelle Obama.

Sasha and Malia ... I love you both more than you can imagine. And you have earned the new puppy that's coming with us ...to the new White House.

And while she's no longer with us, I know my grandmother's watching, along with the family that made me who I am. I miss them tonight. I know that my debt to them is beyond measure.

To my sister Maya, my sister Alma, all my other brothers and sisters, thank you so much for all the support that you've given me. I am grateful to them.

And to my campaign manager, David Plouffe ... the unsung hero of this campaign, who built the best — the best political campaign, I think, in the history of the United States of America.

To my chief strategist David Axelrod ... who's been a partner with me every step of the way.

To the best campaign team ever assembled in the history of politics ... you made this happen, and I am forever grateful for what you've sacrificed to get it done.

But above all, I will never forget who this victory truly belongs to. It belongs to you. It belongs to you.

I was never the likeliest candidate for this office. We didn't start with much money or many endorsements. Our campaign was not hatched in the halls of Washington. It began in the backyards of Des Moines and the living rooms of Concord and the front porches of Charleston. It was built by working men and women who dug into what little savings they had to give $5 and $10 and $20 to the cause.

It grew strength from the young people who rejected the myth of their generation's apathy ... who left their homes and their families for jobs that offered little pay and less sleep.

It drew strength from the not-so-young people who braved the bitter cold and scorching heat to knock on doors of perfect strangers, and from the millions of Americans who volunteered and organized and proved that more than two centuries later a government of the people, by the people, and for the people has not perished from the Earth.

This is your victory.

And I know you didn't do this just to win an election. And I know you didn't do it for me.

You did it because you understand the enormity of the task that lies ahead. For even as we celebrate tonight, we know the challenges that tomorrow will bring are the greatest of our lifetime — two wars, a planet in peril, the worst financial crisis in a century.

Even as we stand here tonight, we know there are brave Americans waking up in the deserts of Iraq and the mountains of Afghanistan to risk their lives for us.

There are mothers and fathers who will lie awake after the children fall asleep and wonder how they'll make the mortgage or pay their doctors' bills or save enough for their child's college education.

There's new energy to harness, new jobs to be created, new schools to build, and threats to meet, alliances to repair.

The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep. We may not get there in one year or even in one term. But, America, I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight that we will get there.

I promise you, we as a people will get there.

AUDIENCE: Yes we can! Yes we can! Yes we can!

OBAMA: There will be setbacks and false starts. There are many who won't agree with every decision or policy I make as president. And we know the government can't solve every problem.

But I will always be honest with you about the challenges we face. I will listen to you, especially when we disagree. And, above all, I will ask you to join in the work of remaking this nation, the only way it's been done in America for 221 years — block by block, brick by brick, calloused hand by calloused hand.

What began 21 months ago in the depths of winter cannot end on this autumn night.

This victory alone is not the change we seek. It is only the chance for us to make that change. And that cannot happen if we go back to the way things were.

It can't happen without you, without a new spirit of service, a new spirit of sacrifice.

So let us summon a new spirit of patriotism, of responsibility, where each of us resolves to pitch in and work harder and look after not only ourselves but each other.

Let us remember that, if this financial crisis taught us anything, it's that we cannot have a thriving Wall Street while Main Street suffers.

In this country, we rise or fall as one nation, as one people. Let's resist the temptation to fall back on the same partisanship and pettiness and immaturity that has poisoned our politics for so long.

Let's remember that it was a man from this state who first carried the banner of the Republican Party to the White House, a party founded on the values of self-reliance and individual liberty and national unity.

Those are values that we all share. And while the Democratic Party has won a great victory tonight, we do so with a measure of humility and determination to heal the divides that have held back our progress.

As Lincoln said to a nation far more divided than ours, we are not enemies but friends. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection.

And to those Americans whose support I have yet to earn, I may not have won your vote tonight, but I hear your voices. I need your help. And I will be your president, too.

And to all those watching tonight from beyond our shores, from parliaments and palaces, to those who are huddled around radios in the forgotten corners of the world, our stories are singular, but our destiny is shared, and a new dawn of American leadership is at hand.

To those — to those who would tear the world down: We will defeat you. To those who seek peace and security: We support you. And to all those who have wondered if America's beacon still burns as bright: Tonight we proved once more that the true strength of our nation comes not from the might of our arms or the scale of our wealth, but from the enduring power of our ideals: democracy, liberty, opportunity and unyielding hope.

That's the true genius of America: that America can change. Our union can be perfected. What we've already achieved gives us hope for what we can and must achieve tomorrow.

This election had many firsts and many stories that will be told for generations. But one that's on my mind tonight's about a woman who cast her ballot in Atlanta. She's a lot like the millions of others who stood in line to make their voice heard in this election except for one thing: Ann Nixon Cooper is 106 years old.

She was born just a generation past slavery; a time when there were no cars on the road or planes in the sky; when someone like her couldn't vote for two reasons — because she was a woman and because of the color of her skin.

And tonight, I think about all that she's seen throughout her century in America — the heartache and the hope; the struggle and the progress; the times we were told that we can't, and the people who pressed on with that American creed: Yes we can.

At a time when women's voices were silenced and their hopes dismissed, she lived to see them stand up and speak out and reach for the ballot. Yes we can.

When there was despair in the dust bowl and depression across the land, she saw a nation conquer fear itself with a New Deal, new jobs, a new sense of common purpose. Yes we can.

AUDIENCE: Yes we can.

OBAMA: When the bombs fell on our harbor and tyranny threatened the world, she was there to witness a generation rise to greatness and a democracy was saved. Yes we can.

AUDIENCE: Yes we can.

OBAMA: She was there for the buses in Montgomery, the hoses in Birmingham, a bridge in Selma, and a preacher from Atlanta who told a people that We Shall Overcome. Yes we can.

AUDIENCE: Yes we can.

OBAMA: A man touched down on the moon, a wall came down in Berlin, a world was connected by our own science and imagination.

And this year, in this election, she touched her finger to a screen, and cast her vote, because after 106 years in America, through the best of times and the darkest of hours, she knows how America can change.

Yes we can.

AUDIENCE: Yes we can.

OBAMA: America, we have come so far. We have seen so much. But there is so much more to do. So tonight, let us ask ourselves — if our children should live to see the next century; if my daughters should be so lucky to live as long as Ann Nixon Cooper, what change will they see? What progress will we have made?

This is our chance to answer that call. This is our moment.

This is our time, to put our people back to work and open doors of opportunity for our kids; to restore prosperity and promote the cause of peace; to reclaim the American dream and reaffirm that fundamental truth, that, out of many, we are one; that while we breathe, we hope. And where we are met with cynicism and doubts and those who tell us that we can't, we will respond with that timeless creed that sums up the spirit of a people: Yes, we can.

Thank you. God bless you. And may God bless the United States of America.

SOL VIEW: 1ST PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE

I JUST FINISHED WATCHING THE MCCAIN-OBAMA DEBATE ONLINE LIVE. MANY OF YOU KNOW THAT I AM AN AVID OBAMA SUPPORTER AND DEMOCRAT. I WALKED INTO TONIGHT'S DEBATE EAGER TO HEAR SENATOR OBAMA DEBATE AND PRESENT HIS AND THE PARTIES PLATFORM. THE FOLLOWING BLOG IS MY VIEW NOT JUST ON THE DEBATE, BUT ON WHAT WAS SAID, NOT SAID, AND WHAT NEEDED TO BE SAID. THE OBVIOUS PREVAILING TOPIC OF THE NIGHT WAS THE ECONOMY AND THE STRATEGIES TO REPAIR IT AS WELL AS THE THINGS STRESSING THEM. IN THE TIMES THAT WE ARE IN OBVIOUSLY IT IS CRITICAL AND IMPARATIVE THAT WE HAVE A LEADER THAT CAN DO BOTH. NATURALLY APART OF THIS SAME DISCUSSION COMES THE TOPICS OF TAX CUTS, AND GOVERNMENT SPENDING. TRUE TO HISTORY THE PARTIES TOOK THEIR OPPOSITE ENDS AT THE SPECTRUM... REPUBLICAN CUT BACKS ON GOVERNMENT SPENDING OUTSIDE OF DEFENSE AND TAX CUTS FOR THE HIGHER CLASS OR MORE "CHOICE FRIENDLY TAX OPTIONS. DEMOCRATS PROPOSING BIG GOVERRNMENT PROGRAMS AND TAX CUTS THAT ARE IN FAVOR OF THE AVERAGE AND MIDDLE CLASS AMERICANS THAT POPULATE THE MAJORITY OF THE COUNTRY I MUST SAY THAT OBAMA HELD A STRONG GROUND ON THIS SUBJECT INSISTING THAT WE NOT SACRAFICE GOVERNMENT EXPEDITURES IN NEW ENERGY MEANS, MEDICAL INURANCE, AND COLLEGE OPTIONS BUT HONESTLY DID NOT MAKE IT ASSERTIVE ENOUGH.... WHILE REITERATING HIS POINT THAT THE GOVERNMENT MUST TAKE THE LEAD IN NEW ENERGY OPTIONS AND BEING ABLE TO PROVIDE MEDICAL COVERAGE FOR THOSE WHOSE JOB DOESN'T HE STILL DID NOT ANSWER THE QUESTION.... WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO SACRAFICE IN LIGHT OF THIS FINIANCIAL RESCUE SYSTEM THAT HAS BEEN ADOPTED BY OUR GOVERNMENT. DESPITE MY DISAPPOINTMENT THAT SENATOR OBAMA DIDN'T DIRECTLY ATTACK THIS QUESTION I FEEL THAT SENATOR MCCAIN'S ANSWER TO THIS WAS NOT A TRUE SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM... ( FREEZING GOVERNMENT SPENDING ON EVERYTHING BUT VETERANS BENEFITS AND PROGRAMS, DEFENSE SPENDING, AND ENTITLEMENTS). WHILE VETERANS BENEFITS AND PROGRAMS DON'T COMPRISE A LARGE AMOUNT OF THE DEBT WITH THE GROWING NUMBER OF YOUNG AMERICA ROTATING OUT OF THE MILITARY WHO HAVE SERVED THE NEED TO INCREASE SPENDING IN THAT ARENA IS GOING TO BECOME HIGH. THAT COMPOUNDED WITH THE TWO BIGGEST SPENDING ELEMENTS OF OUR BUDGET CREATES AN UNDENIABLE RECIEPE FOR DISASTER. THE NOTION THAT YOU WOULD NOT PUT ANY TYPE OF LIMIT ON DEFENSE SPENDING AND MERELY CONTINUE TO LET IT RISE UNCHECKED IS LUDACRIS... THIS IN CONJUNCTION WITH TRYING TO BRING ENTITLEMENTS INTO CHECK WOULD RESULT IN STILL INCREASED SPENDING COUPLED WITH MCCAIN'S AGENDA TO EXPAND DEFENSE IN IRAQ AND ABROAD. THE SECOND POINT OF A TWO DIFFERENT TAX CODES PROPOSSED BY MCCAIN CAN APPEAR INTRIGUING BUT IS BOUND TO HAVE RED TAPE UPON LOOPHOLES FOR INCREASED TAXRES FOR NOT SELECTING THE "PREFERED" CODE OF THE ADMINISTRATION. I REALLY DO APPRECIATE THE COMMENT THAT SENATOR OBAMA MADE REGARDING NOT CLOSING A LOOP BY ADDING TOO IT BUT BY ENDING IT. EVEN BETTER THE RESONATING THEME THAT 'IF WE ARE SPENDING MONEY ON TAX CUTS ON PEOPLE WHO DON'T NEED THEM AND LEAVING OUT COVERAGE FOR HEALTH CARE, WHO ARE WE SERVICING IN THE LONG RUN'.... SPEAKS MORE VOLUMES ON THE SUCJECT THAN ONE COULD HOPE TO HAVE ACCOMPLISHED WHILE AGAIN I DON'T AGREE AT ALL WITH SENATOR MCCAIN'S PLANS FOR A FREEZE I STILL DON'T FEEL THAT OBAMA'S SINGLE STRATEGY OF CUTTING SPENDING IN IRAQ WILL SIMPLY DO THE JOB. MORE IMPORTANTLY I WANT TO MAKE THE POINT THAT WHILE THE FINANCIAL BAIL OUTS IN THE LONG RUN ONLY HURT THE DEMOCRAT AGENDA WHICH IS DRIVEN BY BIG GOVERNMENT SPENDING TO STIMULATE TEH PEOPLE AND THE ECONOMY AND ONLY FURTHER ILLUSTRATE THE REPUBLICAN'S POINT THAT GOVERNMENT NEEDS TAKE CARE OF ITSELF AND LET BUISNESSES AND PEOPLE DO THE SAME....
ONE POINT THAT I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE IN TRANSITION TO DEFENSE POLITICS IS THAT WE ARE IN DEBIT TO A COUNTRY THAT FUNDS DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY THE TERRORIST INTRESTS WE ARE BORROWING MONEY TO FIGHT... AND WE CAN NO LONGER DO SO.WITH THE ECONOMY TAKING UP HALF OF THE DEBATE OBIVIOUSLY THE WAR AND DEFENSE EFFORTS AND SPENDING TOOK UP THE OTHER HALF OF THE DEBATE. WITH MCCAI'NS ARROGANT AND SNIPPET REMARKS ABOUT HIS EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITIES I HAVE TO WONDER.... IF THOSE ARE THE THINGS THAT QUALIFY HIM FOR THE PRESIDENCY WHY DID THEY NOT QUALIFY HIM BEFORE NOW AND WHY DID HE HAVE TO SHIFT HIS AGENDA AND VIEWS TO BECOME THE CANADTE FOR HIS PARTY. WE ALL CAN ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE SURGE WORKED... AND THAT AS A TACTIC IT DID WORK BUT IT IS NOT A STRATEGY ( LONG TERM ). FURTHERMORE SIMPLY CHOSING TO JUST STAY IN CASE THERE IS AN ISSUE IS NOT GOING TO WORK. THE IRAQI GOVERNMENT AND MILITARY WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO BE FULLY FUNCTIONING WHILE USING US NOT ONLY AS A CRUTCH BUT AS AN EXOSKELETON. OBAMA KILLED MCCAIN WITH THE POINT THAT THAT THE WAR DID NOT BEGIN IN 2007 AND THAT WE CAN NOT JUDGE THE SUCCESS OF THIS WAR MERELY ON THE RECENT SUCESSES BUT ON THE TOTAL HISTORY AND RESULTS SINCE 2002. WE CANNOT ONLY THINK ABOUT THE FINNANCIAL CAPITAL THAT WE ARE SPENDING IN THIS WAR BUT THE HUMAN AND MORAL CAPITOL THAT WE ARE LOSING AND EXPENDING. I AM A HUGE SUPPORTER OF OUR TROOPS HAVING DATED PEOPLE IN THE MILITARY AND HAVING EVEN BEEN ENGAGED TO SOMEONE WHO HAS NOW SERVED TWO SEPERATE TERMS IN IRAQ. WHILE I AM PROUD OF THE WORK THAT THEY ARE DOING I CANNOT DENY THE PSYCHOLOGICAL EFFECTS THAT IT HAS ON MY GENERATION. FOR THAT REASON, AS WITH MY CONTINUING VIEW THAT BEFORE WE CAN BE A WORLD POWER THAT RENDERS JUDGEMENT WE MUST LEAD BY JUST EXAMPLE, I DO SUPPORT A PLAND THAT WOULD PHASE TROOPS OUT OF IRAQ TO MUCH LOWER LEVELS WITHIN 6 MONTHS AND AN INCREASED INTERNATIONAL PEACE KEEPING PRESENCE THERE NOT JUST OUR OWN. I WANT OUR TROOPS TO BE TAKEN CARE OF WHEN THEY GET BACK AND TO BE GIVEN THE CARE THAT THEY NEED. THEY CAN'T GET THAT IF 6 MONTHS AFTER GETTING BACK THEY HAVE TO RETURN. ALSO, I AGREE WITH THE POINT THAT THE WAR ON TERROR BEGAN IN AFGHANISTAN AND NEEDS TO END THERE. WE NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT ALQUEDA AND THE TALIBAN DO NOT REGAN CONTROL IN THAT AREA AND ARE ABLE TO PERPTUATE ANOTHER ATTACK. BOTH CANNADITES AND I AGREE THAT WHILE WE ARE SAFER NOW THAN WE WERE PREVIOUSLY THAT WE ARE STILL NOT SAFE... ENSURING THAT SAFETY IS NOT GOING TO BE MERELY BY STAYING IN IRAQ BUT BY TAKING NOTE OF THE OTHER COUNTRIES THAT POSE A THREAT TO US, TRULY REBUILDING AFGHANISTAN, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY LEADING BY EXAMPLE AS TO INFLUENCE OTHER SUPER POWERS LIKE RUSSIA TO TAKE LEADERSHIP ROLES NOT OVERLY AGGRESSIVLEY MAN HANDLE THE REST OF THE WORLD.

BOTTOM LINE IS THAT WE AREN'T GOING TO BE ANY GOOD TO THE REST OF THE WORLD IF WE PUT OURSELVES IN DEBT TRYING TO PLAY MIDDLE SCHOOL HALL MONITOR.

IN THE DISCUSSIONS ON DEFENSE POLICIES AND ON THE ECONOMY THE SUBJECT OF ENERGY AND OIL SURFACED MANY DIFFERENT TIMES. AS MUCH AS I WOULD LOVE TO SAY THAT WE CAN SLEY SOLVE THE US OIL PROBLEMS BY GIVING ENCENTIVES TO PEOPLE AND COMPANIES FOR ALTERNATIVE FUEL SORCES I KNOW THAT IT IS NOT THE ONLY SOLUTION. THE ONLY PERSON IN THAT DEBATE WHO I SAW WH WAS WILLING TO GIVE AND TAKE ON THIS SUBJECT THAT BOTH UNILATERALLY EFFECTS THE ECONOMY AND THE WAR THAT WE ARE IN IS SENATOR OBAMA. HE UNDERSTANDS THAT WHILE OFF SHORE DRILLING IS NOT IDEAL THAT IN A SMALL WAY IT WILL BE NECESSARY. BUT WE MUST ALSO BUT TECHNOLOGY AND RESOURCES TO CLEANER FORMS OF FUEL, SOLAR ENERGY, WIND ENERGY AND YES NUCLEAR ENERGY.

SENATOR OBAMA MENTIONED THIS FACT WE CONSUME 25% OF THE WORLD'S OIL BUT WE ONLY HAVE 3%. DRILLING TOO MUCH TOO SOON CAN AND WILL DEPLEAT WHAT LITTLE WE HAVE AND NOT GIVE US ANY FOR ANY DIRE TIMES WHERE IT MAY BE NESSCARY.

OVERALL THE DEBATE GAVE ME HOPE THAT SENATOR OBAMA IS SPREADING HIS PRESIDENTIAL WINGS. HE UNDERSTANDS THAT HE DOESN'T HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS BUT IS SMART ENOUGHT TO SURROND HIMSELF WITH PEOPLE WHO CAN TEACH HIM NOT JUST ANSWER FOR HIM. HE MAY NOT BE A VETERAN BUT HE UNDERSTANDS THAT IN ORDER TO HELP VETERANS YOU HAVE TO HAVE MONEY TO HELP THEM WITH AND PROGRAMS THAT CAN SUPPORT NOT ONLY THEM BUT THERE FAMILIES. I RESONATES THE POINT THAT FIGHTING A WAR AGAINST TERRORISM IS FIGHTING A CONCEPT NOT JUST A GROUP OF PEOPLE AND THAT TO DO SO WE MUST MAKE THE WORLD HAVE FAITH IN US AGAIN AS A WORLD LEADER AND A WORLD POWER.

ON A LIGHTER NOT BEFORE I GIVE MY CONCLUDING THOUGHTS THE DEBATE DID HAVE SOME HUMOR. BETWEEN SENATOR OBAMA "MISTAKENLY" CALLING SENATOR MCCAIN TOM (REFERING TO UNCLE TOM) AND JIM (JIM CROW) AND A CORNY BUT CHUVKLE WORTHY IMAGE OF SENATOR MCCAIN STARRING INTO PUTIN'S EYES AND SEEING A " K A G AND A B". THE AWARD FOR MOST COLORFUL VOCABULARY FOR THE NIGHT GOES TO SENATOR MCCAIN FOR THE WORDS "FESTUNEND" AND "PARSING". BUT THE ALL TIME FUNNIEST MOMENT WAS THE LOOK OF CONSTIPATION ON SENATOR MCCAIN'S FACE WHEN HE HAD TO SHAKE SENATOR MCCAIN'S HAND AT THE END OF THE DEBATE.

OVERALL I NOTICED THAT BOTH CANNIDATES ARE VERY STUBORN AND HOLD FAST TO THEIR VIEWS BUT I DO SEE AN ARROGANCE IN MCCAIN REMINISANT OF W. THAT SCARES ME.... THE FACT THAT HE CAN SO ARROGANTLY BOAST ABOUT NOT NEEDING ON THE JOB TRAINING IS SCARRY. BUSH THOUGHT THAT HE DIDN'T NEED TRAINING AND WAS SO FIXATED ON BEING RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT HE ENDED UP DRIVING US DEEPER INTO DARK SPIRAL THAN EVER BEFORE. IT ONLY MAKES ME PRAY THAT THE MESSAGE OF CHANGE AND HOPE THAT SENATOR OBAMA BRINGS WILL INSPIRE MORE PEOPLE AND LEAD HIM RIGHT TO THE WHITE HOUSE.

One mind one heart one voice one soul. One person speaks a word that plants an idea into another's soul that blooms into a beautiful concept and reality that is seen and spread throughout the world. And by one speaking another listening and sharing and by it gong forth in repetition we spread this Anjlik Sol......
